COMMUNITY GROW GROUPS

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Hebrews 10:24-25 (ESV)

We encourage believers to get together with others outside of the four walls of the church and into a wider community. We call these groups, “Extended Community Grow Groups.” Extended Community” means going beyond our physical location through telecommunication. As we get together through teleconferencing, ZOOM, or through the use of other forms of telecommunication for bible study, sharing life and getting to know new people we are able to reach, teach, and share Jesus throughout various parts of the world. In these times of uncertainty; let’s be safe, creative, and connected. When we are in the extended community, we have the opportunity to create unity.

Matthew 22:37-40 ESV

And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

Romans 15:7 ESV

Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

Romans 12:9-21 ESV

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.
